Beer Jingle Quiz

Ok, I know that this may be a somewhat generational post, since some of you younger folks won't have any idea what I am talking about -- let's see how many of the following beer jingles you can match to the beers. I will include a couple of current ones so everyone can have a crack at it:

"Darling when will you be mine, cuando, cuando, cuando, cuando..."

"Here's to good friends, tonight is kind of special...so tonight, let it be ____."

"Head for the mountains of _____ beer!"

"Don't hold back, cuz there's a party over here so you might as well be here where the people care..."

"People all over the world, join hands, start a love train, a love train..."

"After midnight, were gonna let it all hang out, after midnight, were gonna shake jump and shout..."

"Doobee, doobee do..."

"If you've got the time, we've got the beer. _____ beer."

"What'll you have? ______. Smoother, smoother, smoother flavor..."

"Ya da da da da da da da da da da...."

Post one or all of the answers. A little hint, youtube has lots of these beer commercials.

The Chemical Brothers song is used in the Budweiser commercial.

Yup, it is Budweiser Select, the new brand they are trying to market. That is one for Elena.

OMG, I absolutely despise beer but actually liked Sweet China! I tried it a long time ago when boyfriend at the time introduced it to me. He was from Boston and somehow his brother had gotten it. It was the best and the only beer I could tolerate.

Oops! ...when MY boyfriend at the time

In fact, I have been trying to remember the name of this beer for YEARS and inadvertently came across it tonight while looking through some old college stuff (he was my college boyfriend). I can't believe I finally found it! I wonder if I could get my hands on this beer again. It's been so long and I would love to try it. I have a feeling, though, that it will be difficult. Wonder if they even make it anymore. Can't remember where it came from.

Annie,

I have no idea where you can get it. The last time...well and only time...I had it was in 1989. I have a feeling it is no longer produced. I actually think it was a Chinese import, but I cannot remember what part of China it came from. Seriously, it you really liked it, I would get a decent lager and add 5% pineapple juice to a bottle. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you really like it, give it a try. That would be a little over 1/2 ounce of pineapple juice.
